Hello, it seems that i am banned from all PWC servers but i don't see why i am banned. Could u please unban me from the servers? My old username used to be plop if u need to know . It says: Reason: Your GUID matches banId #10244 but i don't know why i am banned

Many years ago, while I was still a massive noob, I joined one of your servers and was banned for annoyance. I'd completely forgotten about this until I just went to join the PWC Trial Central server and it told me I was banned. I honestly can't even remember what the name of the original server I joined was or what was said, so I was wondering if you could remove the ban so I could play, with my most humble apologies for whatever I said at the time that I was banned.

Llama Punter now knows how to work with NAT (Network Address Translation) which means you're behind a router that assigns other IP addresses only for your location (if you're hosting a server from your house for example). If it notices the IP it receives is a private range, it will use the public IP used to access llama punter.

i recently went on a new invasion server i found and it told me that i was globally banned for some reason. i came here and saw that i was in the globally banned list for aimbotting and some other stuff and i was just wondering if since im using the same name as the hacker i could of been banned with him?

We have a regular user that says he is all of a sudden getting a BAN notice when he tries to join our server. I verified he does not have a GUID ban ( GUID = f5eb7f38396f749Off88ac566689d901 ), so I am suspecting an IP ban. Since we do not have a tool to check for IP bans like you do for GUID's ( http://punter.vengefulllama.com/status/ ), can you check to see if IP address 98.240.131.131 has a ban, and if so, can it be removed? Or if it has a GUID that is attached to it, can it be changed to a GUID ban only?

I am just wondering if i can get unbanned i don't hack nor share my CDKey. so im not sure how i have two cdkeys used at the same time. i was sent here for an appeal from the PWNED clan and noticed i have a global ban on me. i am just wondering if it possible for me to get it lifted thanks.

UTAN checks the online list everytime

I noticed that my local database doesn't contain many entries. I also saw on my (vengefulllama) webpanel that my server is receiving global bans. I also noticed in the (ut2004 server) webpanel that the receive fresh ban list checkbox is unchecked. I figure I should leave it this way..?

Is the ut server basically contacting the llamapunter network each time a player joins to check if they are in the global ban list?

Also, I hope entry into the global ban list is very strict, in the sense that there is some rigor involved in verifying claims of cheating, as I wouldn't want skilled players to be mistaken as cheaters. Are many of these global bans leftovers from when utan was hosted on xray gaming?

Hi Guys,
So apparently the bans im getting from the servers i play on just changed to using this Llama Punter Network and being banned from here i was unable to play on the 3-5 servers i only play now. Its been over 3 years since i have been banned. I would really appreciate it if the ban would be lifted. If you need names of players who i have been playing with for the past years that seen my attitude progressively change to a better one i would be glade to if it helps appeal this ban. Please i beg of you to lift this ban.

Updated UTAN Parser & Exempt List

I have worked for a few hours tonight to release a requested feature by a member. You can now build an exempt list of GUIDs that you do not want banned.

For example, if you see a player on our global block list, and you 'know' he's clean (we beg to differ) you can list him has an exempt guid and he can connect.

Admins can see this feature on the homepage of the admin area.

UTAN Mutator Data Parser Fix

I was just alerted today that there was an error being generated by players that were in a group and receiving bans to a server, they would receive a mysql error along with their ban list. I have now successfully fixed this problem (I hope... from my testing it was good)

Groups function now has the Global Ban list receive optional working properly. I found out it wasn't set right. The way it works is that the founder's account of the group is what controls what the group servers get. If the founder turns off the global ban list receiving on the 'my bans' page, then all the accounts for that group have it shut off too.

This is how I wanted it in the first place, but now it's working as intended. Thanks to Loegy from House of Carpe for pointing that out.

New User Interface

It gives me great pleasure to announce the new skin to the entire site. I have went through and converted all our old pages (well, most of them...) to a template based structure. I also have introduced a new theme. You'll notice more Ajax based features such as the fold out information on the homepage.

I am working on a website widget that you can also place on your site so that players can check and see how they are ranked.

I also discovered a nasty security hole on accident, but all possibilities were patched. Remember, regardless what happens there are backups, and I can get it back online.

It is nice, however, since we now force the use of the UTAN ban manager if our servers are off you will still maintain a ban list, proper.

Remember all, I am here for you if you have questions. As people can tell you I'm pretty good at responding to emails in a prompt fashion, unless we're having a busy day at the office or meetings, etc.

New Feature: Receive or Not Receive Global Ban List

I thought that this would be a nice feature for all admins if for some reason they do not like our global ban list. They can choose to ignore it and send the ones they put in to their servers.

This was a harder to implement feature than you would think. The way this works is that if you're just a single user you have a selectable option to turn the global ban enforcement on and off from the web panel. This got a lot harder when working with groups, so the way I have set it up is as follows.

If you're set up in a group, it will check if you're the founder. If you are not it will find the username of the founder and see what is preferences are for sending or receiving the global ban list. Awesome huh?

On our homepage you can see directly on there if a person is verified by our global list or not. If someone is blocked because of a global ban that line will appear red and will have a link to their ban information.

Also you will have the option to view the last 200 events by clicking on the homepage's link for the tracker.

For admins you will find a new option in your control panel that lets you search our tracker (IP and GUID covered partially), you can search by your server or by name or ip or guid. It's a powerful search tool.

good servers I play in about 2 years ago and one day between a server and was banned try to enter the other servers and also was banned if they could please unban all STG server ... because I did not miss anything bad eh.
