Why does registration require my GUID?
Originally our system was going to have protection so you couldn't ban yourself. Still this is something we can implement however at this time it is something that has not been. This is also used as verification in some situations.

Can I be a Global Admin?
Short answer is no, we do not trust just anyone. Right now it is just SgtMuffin and one other person who actively manages this site. We do not add global bans without proof we can back. We do not ban Warez keys without evidence. You can always question a GUID and we can look into it. Just be aware that no global bans have ever been lifted, they probably never will be.

How does this "tracker" get it's info?
This is simple, all servers running the server actor have an option to report player joins to our tracker. Our tracker is this "ginormous" database which is logging all of this, and able to make trends out of it. This is used by admins to pull reports about your names you've used, how many locations you've been in and most importantly this feature is used to determine if the CD-Key is being used by several people (meaning it is a pirated key).

How is a CD-Key Decided to be banned if it's 'pirated'?
As you can see on the homepage, our AI script looks at SEVERAL things including Countries, Spacing between sign ins, Multiple uses at once, User Names Used, Carrier (ISP), and servers joined. From this our system internally rates you a number from 1-9 on how suspicious you are. To make sure our system isn't crazy it merely alerts us of suspicious activity, and we review it before blocking it.
